Function：Possesses detumescent and detoxifying properties; it is commonly used for diarrhea, abdominal pain, dysentery, various skin ailments, and rheumatic arthralgia, as well as for preventing influenza. Lemon-eucalyptus leaf essential oil is one of the key raw materials of the fragrance industry. Citronellal and geraniol can be isolated from it directly, and citronellal can be further converted into hydroxycitronellal, menthol, and other aromatics. The oil serves as the fragrance base for soaps, perfumes and other cosmetics, and is also used to prepare cooling balms and insect-repellent oils.
