According to China Customs Data in 2015, of the 17000 tons of Eucalyptus globulus crude oil consumed by China, the export reached 10000 tons. The content of eucalyptus oil is between 45% and 52%.

In all consumer areas, one of the main reasons for the establishment of Eucalyptus Plantations of about 4.6 million hectares is to consume essential oils.
